Dr. Teresa’s Bio
Dr. Teresa is a distinguished counselor educator and Associate Professor of Counselor Education and Supervision. She earned her Ph.D. with Highest Distinction, focusing her research on the role of self-forgiveness in self-induced moral injury and sexual shame. A highly credentialed professional, she holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling, along with multiple licenses, including a Nationally Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Licensed School Counselor.
Her clinical expertise is currently applied in a small private practice, where she treats clients of diverse ages through individual and family counseling. As an active researcher, she has authored textbook chapters on Psychoanalytic Theory and Personality Disorders and frequently presents at national conferences on topics such as spiritual integration, ethical decision-making, student dispositions, and resilience.
Dr. Teresa is currently being called to speak publicly about her personal and clinical experiences working with personality disorders and other mental health challenges, which she often explores through a Christian worldview and spiritual integration lens.
